The following are the Australian standards relates to the use of lifts within the built environment. AS1735.12 details specific requirements for people with a disability. Please note these are copyright and we cannot issue copies of them.

AS1735.12 sets out requirements for facilities in passenger lifts that are specifically designed to assist persons with disabilities. It is complementary to AS 1735.1, AS 1735.2 and AS 1735.3. Where any conflict arises between Parts of AS 1735, the provisions of this Part shall take precedence.
